Making Justice Personal for the Poor, the Vulnerable, & the Forgotten
I’ve had a heart for missions since childhood when my parents took me to our church’s annual missions banquet. What started as a fascination with other cultures grew into a deep passion to be personally involved as an adult. Even before Justice & Mercy International officially opened an office in the Amazon, I took trips with them to encourage pastors and minister to children in the jungle. Now, for over a decade, I’ve partnered with JMI in their work in the Amazon and beyond. My experiences ministering around the world have opened my eyes to the mission opportunities all around us, right in our own backyards. Bringing the love of Jesus to these places and seeing hope emerge from hopelessness has been one of my greatest joys and has shaped every area of my life.
I invite you to join me in supporting God’s good work through JMI, and see how He uses it to soften your heart towards vulnerable people in your own neighborhood.
“Speak up for those who have no voice, for the justice of all who are dispossessed. Speak up, judge righteously, and defend the cause of the oppressed and needy.” Proverbs 31:8-9
